Cab Rides
Give the gift of a lifetime with a cab ride on the Chehalis-Centralia. Up to two lucky passengers will get to experience what it is like to ride in the cab of a working steam locomotive built in 1916. It's an opportunity to feel the essence of steam, up close and personal.
Cab riders get one round trip in the cab of Cowlitz, Chehalis & Cascade No. 15, a working 2-8-2 "Mikado" type steam locomotive over 90 years old. Our friendly crew will happily answer questions and show the lucky passenger how the engine is operated. At the end of a memorable trip, each cabride passenger will receive a certificate documenting their experience, signed by the train's Conductor and Engineer. The $30 fee covers fare and certificate.
For any lover of railroads, it is the ultimate gift. And hey, you can always buy one for yourself, too!
